The 4Life Dream
The Lisonbees had a grand vision when they first ventured into the consumer networks business two decades ago. They were determined to achieve their goals with utmost excellence, even if it meant taking things slow. Their primary focus was on building a robust research line with transfer factors – a flagship product that would enable them to share their passion for developing a globally-distributed business model.
Over the years, the Lisonbee couple found their unique path of growth, with clear objectives in mind. Today, their brainchild, 4Life, is ranked 43rd on Direct Selling News’ Global 100 2019 list of the world’s largest network companies.
Thanks to their unwavering commitment to success, 4Life’s executives have developed a scalable and sustainable business model that is supported by cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence. Their vision for the future is a testament to their forward-thinking mindset, with a scope of 10 years ahead in nanotechnology.

4Life History
The story of 4Life is intertwined with the discovery of transfer factors by Dr Sherwood Lawrence. His groundbreaking research on tuberculosis led to the revelation that immune information could be transferred from a donor to a recipient, thereby training the recipient’s immune system. These transfer factors were identified as the key molecules responsible for this process. Since Dr Lawrence’s pioneering work, over $40 million has been invested in transfer factor research, with hundreds of scientific papers confirming its effectiveness. Join us in harnessing the power of transfer factors to support optimal immune health and well-being.
4Life Growth
4Life Research has been on a remarkable journey of growth since its inception. In the year 2000, the company relocated its headquarters to Sandy, Utah and opened its first international market in New Zealand. By 2002, 4Life Transfer Factor Cardio™ was incorporated into the product line and the company had already established branches in Japan and Australia.
Between 2003 and 2008, the company experienced exponential growth, ranking among the 15 fastest-growing companies by Inc.500 magazine in 2003. In the same year, 4Life Research opened offices in Korea and distribution centres in Europe and Russia. In 2004, the company expanded further, opening offices in Mexico, Singapore, and Malaysia.
The year 2005 saw the launch of 4Life Transfer Factor RioVida® and the opening of branches in Taiwan and the Philippines. In 2006, the company continued its expansion, opening offices in Thailand and launching Tri-Factor™ on the market. Between 2006 and 2008, 4Life Research opened offices in Colombia, Spain, and Hong Kong, solidifying its global presence.
Today, with operations in over 70 countries, 4Life Research continues to lead the way in health and wellness.
A story to look to the future.
“But it’s not a story we want to remember for long. It’s a story we want to build on going forward.”
Newly appointed 4Life President and CEO Danny Lee says the lessons he will take with him as he leads the company into its next phase will be a combination of what has worked and what hasn’t in 4Life, and what has worked and what hasn’t. not for the marketing channel in general.
“We have learned in the last 20 years that you can have a charismatic leader. You can have exponential growth in the markets. You can have all kinds of weak points. But if you don’t have a great product, backed by science and research, you’re not going to last long term.”
The 4Life founders’ backstory
Science has been at the core of 4Life’s values and operations since day one, says David Lisonbee. It even made the difference between Bianca resisting David’s initial idea and joining her.
“I was David’s most difficult distributor,” Bianca says, remembering how nervous she was about launching into another business. David had just left another nutraceutical company that she had co-founded, and she wasn’t sure they should go back to being entrepreneurs.
But she then began reading and researching the use of transfer factor, the product that had started a fire in David, and she became the biggest cheerleader. She says to David, “I felt deep in my bones that we had to start this company,” to which Bianca adds, “Once I had an experience with the product, I felt the same way.”
Comprised of proteins and other peptides from bovine colostrum and chicken eggs with the primary goal of balancing the natural immune system response, the 4Life Transfer Factor has been an ingredient in the company’s most successful products. 4Life launched and had “respectable” success with lines like personal care products and protein products, Lee says. “But they’ve never really caught on the path we hoped for. It’s a reminder that you want to stick to your core competency. We are the company of the immune system.
4Life’s Focus on Science
4Life’s Chief Scientific Officer, David Vollmer, and his team of researchers are determined to make the most of their discovery about transfer factors and unlock its full potential. Initially, the ingredient only targeted the immune system, but with Vollmer’s expertise in analytical chemistry and the recent appointment of Lawry Han as the Senior Director of Product Development, the company is poised to take the market by storm. Han’s impressive credentials in scientific research, regulatory affairs, and quality engineering, coupled with his PhD in microbiology and biochemistry from the University of Utah, make him an invaluable addition to the team. With a commitment to developing top-quality products and a highly competitive market, 4Life is ready to lead the way in the industry.
